Posted on i know that this is true for the current 2005 JL 1000/1, but on the older 1000/1 models, can they also run 1000 watts rms at 1.5-4 ohms? i know its refered to as the R.I.P.S. system. and is in the slash series amps. when did jl start doing this? i currently have a jl 1000/1 and i want to identify wether mine is capable of doing this or not. how do i identify this? thanks |

Posted on all slash series amplifiers are/have RIPS. they've always had regulated power supplies and regulated outputs. the e0series JL amplifiers do not.
