hey .. been debating on some amps for my type x's... i was thinking 2 jl 1000/1's.. i love the slash amps.. but i also want to have enough power for the future if i decide to buy some diff subs eg. Re xxx.. i know the jl's are underrated but do they give out pretty close to there rated power -1000 watts.. or would i wanna get some amps with a lil more power to run some of the bigger subs out there , in case i wanted to do so
Orion has some competively priced amps at high power. The Orion 2500d puts out 2500 x 1 at 1-ohm or so. Kicker also has the KX2500.1 which puts out 2500 x 1 at 2-ohms or so I believe. JBL should also have a high wattage solution but the model number just doest come to mind.
I'm sure if you search on the forum for RE XXX subs you will find the type of amps people have suggested for it.
