I have 2 Jensen's wired parallel to a 2 channel 550 Watt Scosche amp. I had the gain turned wide open and the amp was over loading so I turned the gain down to 1/2 way. The light isnt blinking on...but i was wondering if I am still doing damage to the amp and subs still. I put each sub on its own channel...but they didnt pound as hard. Parallel seems way better...unless its doing damage...

it all depends on wether the amp is made to run single channel mode!if its made to run single channel and your overloadin it you might have to run a heaver power cable

My amp says this:

220 watts RMS X 1 channel at 4 ohms
80 watts RMS X 2 channels at 4 ohms
110 watts RMS X 2 channels at 2 ohms

and the subs are 4 ohms. when u wire them paralled that gives them a 2 ohm load and bridge them means that the amp cant handle it...because it runs 4 ohms when bridged. If i understand that right. I think i better sell my stuff while it still works...:-(
