It all depends on your car. What is it? And what is your budget for the amp?

Glasswolf: don't worry man, I got this one :D.

Eh... probably. But I usually get an amp with a larger RMS than my subs, so it doesn't work so hard. And what kind of car do you drive? And what's your budget? I have to run to work, but I'll come back and help you if you'll just give me that information. Peace.

Look into the Rockford Fosgate T10001bd. You can pick 'em up for about $450.00. You can look into Orion and Hifonics. Are the subs single or dual voice coil? And are they four or two ohm?

Yea, that amp should be fine, run it at 1 ohm. Maybe look into a Hifonics amp? They're decent amps too, and cheaper than the RF.

If you're planning on getting an amp over 1000w rms, then you WILL need HO alternator. No way around it.
Until then, you can keep the volume down, way down and use lot of self control.

I hate NEW Hifonics! and Isaac is right you are gonna need an HO alt especially in a mercury sable I highly doubt your alt is any bigger then 90-100 amps. to run 1000 watts of power you would typically need a 80-85 amps in your reserve which there is no way in HE11 you are gonna have that.
