How are Kenwood amp?

0alacard0 Unregistered guest	Posted on Friday, July 22, 2005 - 05:14 GMT I dont know. I have a kenwood now, and i dont think they put out what they really say they do. I had an alpine MRD-M605 amp pushing out 600 watts and it hurt my ears. I now have this kenwood pushing the same sub with 850 watts RMS (supposedly), and it isnt nearly as loud. It is nice and clear, but i dont think they put out their rated RMS.

I would stay away from them if I was you. And I totally think that they BS their RMS numbers. Run JBL or MTX if you are on a budget.
