would it be possible to bridge four channels to one subwoofer? I doubt it is, but i figured that it would be worh asking...

Yes, if you have quad VC sub or 4ohms DVC. You can bridge 4 channels into 2 and then power each VC separately.
Make sure you feed mono signal to the amp so that each VC gets the same signal and power. If not, you will have a blown sub.

oh...never mind then....I've got a 4 ohm single voice coil sub...oh well...Thanks for the help
