I have a Pioneer Premier DEH-P670MP head unit, and i already have the subs as well, 2 infinity kappa perfect 10.1's in a sealed enclosure. I know i want to run the subs in parallel off of one amp to create two ohms of impedence. Which amp should i get? here's my choices so far:

KENWOOD KAC-8152D
Kenwood KAC-9102D
Kenwood KAC-9152D
Kicker SX 650.1
Kicker KX 600.1
PIONEER GM-D510M
Alpine MRD-M605
INFINITY REFERENCE 610A

Kenwoods seem to give you a lot of power for your money, which makes me think that they may be junk, also somewhat with pioneer, although not to such a degree. I am leaning towards the infinity or one of the kickers, but please everyone let me know what you think!

Also, does anyone know where i might look in a 1996-1998 Grand Am for a hole in the firewall to run the power wire from the battery to the trunk?

Yes, you are correct, Kenwood and Pioneer amps are basically crap. Stay Away! Infinity amps are pretty good and it would be nice to have matching subs and amp. Kicker is good too. I would choose either of those 2 brands.
