just bought this MTX 942 2channel amp off ebay to power my MTX 9500...bidded on a RF but after i found out its highly overrated decided to get this instead..hate to be a nonpaying bidder but im just wondering if this amp is any good for this sub because on the mtx website it says it will work if i bridge the amp

Yeah, go for it. MTX is pretty good. Especially considering the fact you've already won the thing, I don't see why you shouldn't, heh.

Amplifier Type: 2-channel
RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 235W x 2 @ 14.4V
Bridged RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 940W x 1 @ 14.4V

I think so if you can get that many watts out of it.MTX is a decent company
