How would I find out how many amps my stock alternator is??? Its not printed newhere on the alternator, but their is a green fuse in the fuse box that is rated at 40 A. If nebody can tell me how to find out it would be greatly apreciated..Thanks

Just do a search on the internet. You can easily find anything out about any make and model.

Call your dealer or alternator shop and they should have spec on your stock alternator.
Most stocks supply 60A - 75A the most.
The 40A fuse is probably for your ignition. If you look at the fuse box under the hood, you'll find another fuse for the battery. It's usually around 75A - 80A.
