Greetings,

My s600s don't sound too good right now hooked to a cheap a$$ Kenwood amp. I'm looking to spend about $300. Greatly appreciated for your help.

My options so far:

Phoenix Gold Xenon 200.2
Audiobahn A8002T

HEX s600s SPECS:
Type: Component
Size: 6 in.inch Mid 1 in.inch Tweet
Power Handling NOM/MAX: 150/300 watts
Sensitivity (2.83V/1m): 91 dB SPL

diamond makes decent amps. your best bet would be the d6600.4.

They are 4 ohms nominal.
The d6600.4 might not have enough juice for it.

I do hear that the highs can be harsh on these which would do well with "warm" sounding amps.
What brands of amp are known for to sound "warm"?!
Greatly appreciated for your input.

I emailed Diamond Audio and they do recommend min. 100W RMS. They recommend 200W RMS/ch if possible. That's pretty crazy.
