hi guys i have a sony CDX-M620 cd player and basic sony 6x9 speakers i get a very good sound from my car but it lacks bass, and i dont wanna spend lots so i am thinking of getting just a good condition boxed 12 inch sub (good brand) and a basic amp like a sony 222W to power it, my stero has a seprate sub out option which i can control the level of.
please suggest i am on the right track to get some cheap bass and how do i wire it ? and what wires from the stereo go where?
honest opinion? sony is the worst product name in car audio. don't waste money on one of their amps. get an all in one solution to add some bass, like an Infinity BassLink. it's a powered sub, and sells for about $150 on eBay brand new. lots of them there. great little sub, too if you're not after earth shattering bass.
