What u think about spray sound deaning material? Where should it be used?

I've heard you can actually gain a db or 2 if used right. You're going to use it in a comp set up right? I'd just buy as much as possable, and cover the inside floor/trunk/everything you can!

im actually lookin just for SPL but maybe it helps that too....even if i dont know what is a compitission lol...sorry

Yes, it will help with spl. It will keep the sound pressure inside instead of letting it out. If that makes any sense.:-)
Maybe someone can anser one of my questions about it though... wouldn't that hurt cabben gain though?

thanks taylor so i will just spray everythin in my car and use dynamat and whatever is possible to avoid all kind or rumours, so maybe i'll gain 1 or 2 dbs...hope so coz i stopped at 144.6 and i cant improve :-(

Maybe play with the box?
Also what kind of meter was used to test that, and was that legal?

we used the official db drag instrument here at the last db drag contest in italy...maybe i should try to cut the ports..

my bad lol. the box it's tuned to 60Hz coz my car cabin frequency it's around 55 i think, cant remember it actually...and the Fs of the sub is 45 i think, i gotta read the specifics again...but my eclipse is difficult to make it sounds, air goes out from everywhere lol

Well, if it leaks air that bad... I'm sure some sound pressure goes with it! Sounddeadnner should help then!
Unless my cabben gain theory comes in to play.:-) Wish someone would anser my question on that.
