Hi, i installed an older amp in my friends car, and ive installed a few systems before so i know what im doing. Okay, the problem is that when the volume is turned up a little less than half way the amp goes into protection. I thought it was the ground, and i've tried a few different spots for a ground but it doesn't seem to be that. I used to have an 8 on that, except i think that that amp was too powerful for it and it blew. However, i got 2 12s for it, and i hooked them in mono, and it keeps going into protection. The subs are SVC so i don't know if they are wired wrong or if the amps messed up. Any help would be nice. Thanks
