Hi All ,, I have 4 infinity-kappa speakers in my car and the two rear speakers are hook to an Jensen amplifier,,, but the problem is that sometimes my left rear speaker stop working and I have to turn up the volume to make it work again but after a while it just stop working,, and the weird thing is sometimes it works sometimes doesn't but the right speaker always works ok ,,, does anybody know what's happening to my speaker... Or if it is the amplifier?
Well Jensen amps arent the Definition of a good Amplifier but it could be the way you got ur speakers hooked up to the amp.Maybe right rear speaker is wired correctly and left rear isnt just rerun your wiring and make sure its like 12-18 gauge speaker wire.
probably the crappy amplifier if its not bad wiring. it's not the speakers, becasue they work at times.
look at a better 4 channel amplifier for all 4 speakers. the Kicker kx600.4 would be a great amp. 75Wrms x 4 @ 4 ohms. under $200 on eBay. about $230 on-line new on etronics.com
