How many amp HO alternator should I look for if I have one Kicker 15" L7 (powered by a KX850.2), and 4 Infinity Kappas (amp undecided, but they run at 100w continuous so 4 of them=400 give or take a few)? And one more thing, once i get the alternator, do i need to get a better battery or anything to go with it or will i be set? Thanks. ~Davey~
I'm just guessing that you will go with a 400 watt amp to power the speaker's. So, At least a 150A alt should Do. Maybe a little bigger now that I think about it. Maybe a 180A.
