New Amp or Sub

Simple question sorda. Should i get an amp for my speakers, or a sub. I am looking for more bass and loudness but i only have enough money to go one way. which would be better ?

If you have good speakers then a amps will give you a little more bass. It will also make it louder. No need to get a sub without a amp. Head units will not make a sub work right.

if you have an stock head unit with aftermarket speakers. Get a speaker amp.

if you have a aftermarket head unit with stock speakers. Get a sub+amp.

if you have aftermarket head unit and speakers. get the sub+amp.

I dont know what else to tell you on this

alright thanks, thats what i was looking for. I already have an alpine head unit and infinity speakers, and was just looking at what would make the most difference in my system.

For what application? What are you looking to get out of them? Whats your budget? What do you have already?

i have subs already i just want sumthin that is gonna sound alot better then my 2 pioneer 6x9 and my 2 stock like 4 1/2's i wanna stay right around 100 for each pair i am tryin to stick with a kenwood theme are their spearkers any good?
