I have a hifonics bx 1500d and i am adding another amp for some speakers. Im running 4 gauge to the Hifonics now but if i add a distribution block and it runs 8 gauge to each amp will that change the output of the 1500d?

The easiest way out(I had a similar problem) is to run a cap as a dist. block. I have since gone in and rewired my factory alt. power, grounds, etc. AKA "the big 3" wires. The cap really doesn't do anything for the system, but rather than try to find a dist block to suit my needs, I just ran a cap. I am running 1800w rms so I know my cap isn't helping much. If I am not mistaken, most 1000w amps and up require a 4ga power wire or larger- So rather than take a chance on starving a power-hungry amp,use a cap.
