SONY XPLOD AT 1 OHMS?

I have a sony xpold amp xm2165 gtx i was thinking if there is a way to get it 2ohms under
like 1ohm if it can do it. I have it a 2ohms i look to see if i can get my power out of it.

Nope, not happening. In all honestly you're lucky that amp doesn't overheat on a 2 ohm load, their amps are very unreliable.

I'm not trying to diss your equipment, I'm just saying 1 ohm will fry that amp.

Hay xplod, he's right. That amp won't like 1 ohm. They just aren't designed to run that low. Even sony's old school bad boys (mobile ES 2100g and 260G) didn't like 1 ohm. I could run mine for hours at 2 ohms and never worry, but 1 ohm was just to much.
