If an amp is 2 ohm stable is it 3 ohm stable also?

i have an audiobahn A8000T and i plan on running three alpine type r's. dual two version so that gives me a 3 ohm load.

I think it is stable, it just won't put as much power as at 2 ohms.

yes. it's just an impedance measurement.
if the amp is stable down to 2 ohms, it can handle any load between 2 and usually 8 ohms. sometimes as high as 16 though that's usually not done due to the small amount of power you'd get with that much load.

3 ohm power output would be exactly half way bwteeen 2 ohm and 4 ohm ratings.
