From what ive read it sounds as if capacitors have and upgraded batteries have no use, please clarify

a few people said that caps drain with in a few seconds. from what ive read it sounds as if all u have to do is upgrade youre aternator. why have a cap if it drains so quick. is a cap a waist of money?

those links answer all of your questions.
the alternator is the only source of power when your car engine is running.
the battery(ies) are only used when the engine is off, so if you're a pro level SPL event competitor, a bank of deep cycle batteries is what you want, along with an alternator that can recharge them.
the capacitors won't really help at all.
not in regards to helping a weak charging system.

hey wolf, thanks alot. i had another questiop. where would i have to look into to find out about schools that show about stereo installation. im intrested in learning. are there any known accredited schools.
