I'm installing a new system in my 98 volvo s70, i'm looking for something to power mb quart pce 216 in the front and rear and pce 160 (midrange only) in the rear doors. I need an amp to properly power these speakers (4 ohm stereo front, 2 ohm stereo rear for two pairs). I'm looking for something in the 200-350$ range. I've looked into the memphis 16-mc3004 (~$300 on ebay), ppi dcx-300.4 (~$350 at ultimate electronics) and soundstream vga320.4 (~$200 on ebay), but i heard soundstream blows now. any opinions? i'm not planning to crank it, i just want clean sound. thanks for help.

JBL, PPI, JL Audio, Memphis, and MTX are all great quality products. I use a JBL GTO 75.4 on my JBL components, and I love it. I recently installed a Soundstorm F100.4 in one of my firend's cars, well it is a nice amp for $50 and powering a few 50 watt inifinity refrences, but nothing more. It works. I love my JBL 75.4 on my JBL 606c components, but is awsome. Good luck, you should be happy with any of those brands.
