Subs in parallel

how do you find out if your subs are dvc or svc, and which kind can you have in parallel, and can you have 2 amps powering two subs in parallel

would really appreciate some help

if a sub has 2 sets of terminals on it its dvc 1 set its svc, you can run them all subs in parrallel, and yes you can have a seperate amp on each sub.

I have a mtx 1501d running my orion h2, i know something is wrong b/c i can hear my engine coming through the speaker. I am using 4 guage through out my car. also when i turn the gain and frequency up the speak make a terrible noise my lights dim and it wont stop till i turn the freq or gain all the way down. I have a 1 farad cap . any suggestions????????????

Joeseph, so that means if i'm running my subs in parallel then they drop from 4ohm to 2ohm, and i can have 2 350 watt rms amps on each one??
