Hey everybody...I'm just starting out in car audio, as you will see by my question... I was wondering what the power output for an amp that produces 300W @ 2Ohms (as in the JBL BP300.1) would produce if it were wired for 1 Ohm, and the amp is 1 Ohm stable. Does Ohm's law still apply so that there is 600W @ 1Ohm, or is there just some variation on the amp so it still produces 300W @ 1Ohm.

Thanks for the help everyone

ohms law i think will still apply. less resistance equals more power (potentialy), ohms law is a little more complicated
