hi any one have a clue what they are doing here lol
i want to run 4 channels comprising :

ch1: 2x260w 20cm xplod's, 2x270w 16x24cm xlpod's and a 38 cm 1400w xplod.
ch2: 2x260w 20cm xplod's, 2x270w 16x24cm xlpod's and a 38 cm 1400w xplod.
ch3 5x130w 13cm xplod's.
ch4 an 1200w 30cm xplod.

or what ever config that you think is best
any recomendations would be greatly appreciated.

boot = 2x1400 xplods, 1x1200w xplod, 5x130w xplods, and 2x270w xplods.

rear door panels 1x260w xplods each.

frond door panels 1x260w xplods each.


but i dont know what amp(s) to use

can any one offer advice?

The best advice I can offer you is this:
Don't use anything by Sony in your car.
Sony makes THE worst products imaginable for car audio.

head unit: clarion, alpine, or eclipse
amps: JBL, Kicker, MTX, JL Audio
components: Infinity Kappa, CDT
subs: elemental design, JL, Kicker, RE, DD

those are some brands to consider

they all make excellent subwoofers

Ben, you must have had some salesman tell you that having an all out Sony system is awesome! Heh. But for most people, they always think their audio setup sounds good until they have someone else to compare to. Sound is indeed, debatable. It's also got a LOT to do with how much dough ya got.
