Hello. I have a JL prowedge box... 2 10" JL W3-V2s wired into 4 ohms at 300 watts each. I also have the Eclipse CD8454 that has an 8V signal. Can somebody help me with some different amps that are 600 watts at 4 ohms and that accept 8 volts? I already looked at the JL 500/1 but was wondering if there are any others out there I could choose from.
Also, if I got a 2 channel amp that, when bridged, gives out 750 watts at 4 ohm, would that give 750 watts to each speaker that is wired in the prowedge box or 325 each? I'm pretty sure they are wired in series. I guess they would have to be. Thanks a whole bunch.
Look at Eclipse's amplifier line. they make some great amps.
if you have two subs wired to a bridged amp, the power is divided between the two speakers. that'd mean 375 watts each if the output is 750 watts @ 4 ohms
lol that's ok. probably doing what I do a lot.. think faster than you type. That's why my typing is so poor. I never bother looking for my typos. haha too much to type, too little time.
