ok people i would appreciate your feedback on this...

Which amp is better to push 2 Sony 12" subs? (350 watts RMS x2)

The Kenwood KACPS621

or

The Sony XM2200GTX

But bear in mind that the kenwood is 30 quid more expensive for me

umm 1 more thing does anyone have an idea of what the current drain on the kenwood would be, i know that the sony is 48 Amps at 4 Ohms

Thankyou very much

I loved the old sony stuff (pre explode). However alot of people have problems with the newer stuff. I would go ahead and spend the extra on the kenwood.

personally you couldn't pay me enough to use either product.
look at JBL, Kicker, or MTX for decent amps for subs.
kenwood and sony both have LOUSY reliability for amplifiers.
*especially* for subs.

the subs have a fixed load.
you just need to figure out how many coils and how many ohms per coil each sub is.
then that load, combined with the total number of subs, needs to be calculated out to find what sort of amp you need based both on final load and power needed.
