i have a 12'' oz audio sub that rattles my trunk and rear speaker deck like crazy even though its not that powerful. the rattling isnt that noticable inside when the music is up but outside it shakes and makes noise like no car ive heard before. im going to be getting a jl w6 this week and its going to be more powerful. im wondering if dynamat or a similar product will noticably reduce the rattling in either of the following ways; inside the car or oustide.

it probably would reduce it quite a bit. there are a few options to reduce noice, like dynamat; stinger makes some of the same stuff and it is cheaper and thicker. madmat, deadskin and brownbread, and then spray ones. The bad thing with spray is it is permenent, therefor hard to take off. I was looking at my car today and relized that it wasn't my license plate making most of the noise, it was my trunck lockhole. I hope i was a little bit of help, if not sorry
