Glasswolf I know your against car audio indoors but would you know if 15-20V is ok for my fusion amplifier?
Right now I have 16V going through it using an expensive 12v power supply and it sounds awsome. I would like about 18V for it so I can get maximum amps out of the power supply because I play really deep bass songs. Everything has gone good scince I hooked it all up and the local car sound shops say its good but I need a second epinion. Thanks

I honestly wouldn't put more than about 16V to the amplifier.
that's usually about their max rating.
beyond that you start to risk damage to the internal components of the amplifier due to over-voltage or heat. This holds especially true for class-AB amplifiers, more so than class-D, since class-D work in a similar manner to a DAC, by sampling the input signal at a high rate, then reconstructing the signal at the output stage at higher power.
Basically my suggestion is this.
If you want more bass, get a larger amp, different subs, a different enclosure, or a combination thereof.
