Coax vs S video on Sat receiver

Anonymous
I heard that if you have a satellite receiver that there is more resolution than the standard coax cable can handle. They say you should use a s video cable.

Is a cheap (4 dollar) S video cable better than a high end coax cable?

I use an S-Video and it greatly improved my systems picture - use S-Video.
