This is a theory that I heard/read about somewhere, but wanted to run it by some knowledgeable folks before trying. Can you run rca cables from a composite output of my direct-tv receiver to a component input on the tv? If so, do you just connect the yellow rca plug to the composite output, and then put the 3 plugs into each of the color coded component input plugs? Is there any danger of hurting the tv by doing so? Will there be any improvement in the picture quality - or should I just go composite to composite? Thank you.
