Introduction

These days, almost every Mac user in the world has some sort of collection of videos on his or her computer — home movies, TV shows, short clips, and even professionally produced videos. Claiming to boost the speed of video conversions by upward of 1,200 percent, Elgato makes a pretty strong argument for buying their $99 USD product. “Okay....I bought the turbo because around half my MP4 movies failed to appear on my AppleTV, though iTunes on my old mac mini had no problem with them. And half meant a 'lot' of time re-encoding....For starters, the Turbo.264 is faster then doing it without....” More...
