The N95, part of Nokia's Nseries of portable multimedia computers, integrates a cellular phone with digital media player/digital camera and has built-in GPS functions.

Nokia said today the N95 multimedia computer was now available in the United States at Nokia Flagship stores, online and through select wireless retailers. This device has a suggested retail price of $749.

The Nokia N95, part of Nokia's Nseries of cellular phone hybrid devices, sports a two-way slide design so one can switch between phone, music or video modes. The Nokia N95 runs on WLAN as well as EDGE/GSM 850/900/1800/2100 and WCDMA/HSDPA 2100 networks. This device has integrated GPS functionality with a Nokia Maps application tie-in and a five-megapixel digital camera featuring Carl Zeiss optics. Other features include video capture, Internet browsing capabilities, an integrated photo/video editor, video out, a digital media player with dedicated control keys, a microSD memory card slot and built-in stereo speakers.

"The Nokia N95 easily replaces a number of single purpose devices with a well designed package that encompasses a fast and powerful multimedia computer," said Bill Plummer, Vice President, Sales & Channel Management, Multimedia, Nokia North America, in a statement. "The Nokia N95 is a personal, powerful and connected device that is optimized for music, video and to conveniently access anything on the World Wide Web."
