I got a Viewsonic vp2030b secondhand monitor few days ago, and I am trying to connect it with my ASUS N53SV notebook by outputting HDMI signal to the DVI-D with a adaptor, but it doesn't work. I was thinking it's the problem of the DVI port of the monitor, however, I just connected it with my notebook by outputting VGA to the DVI-A with a adaptor. Please help me to fix the problem. Thanks!
