Does the choice of interconnect matter between amps in biamping?

current system: Rotel 02 cd and amp, Kef iq5 speakers, kimble kable hero interconnect, 2 pairs QED qudos speaker cables (amp speaker terminal A drives the treble/mid driver and amp speaker terminal B drives the bass)

i am planning to buy a rotel 03 power amp to upgrade the sound. I've done this before with rotel with my previous previous system and it sounded great!

My problem is that i bought the kimber hero off a friend and the cable is not available locally (saudi arabia).

I love how it sounds now!!!

Would having a different interconnect between the integrate amp and the power amp make a drastic change in sound? it is after all just in the bass sound. (FYI when i did my previous set up years ago i had all my cables chord chrysalis... one make..
would coloration get in the way?

What do you guys think?

if it matters... i listen to a lot of jazz... from insturmental to heavy vocal renditions... clarity and seperation is important to me... neutrality of the cable is important.
