yes. this is considered common knowledge among her hardcore fans for the most part, even though it really isnt talked about by either of them. I guess it is sort of passed by word of mouth. I heard it two years ago from one of my friends at college.

I tends to restore one's faith that talent may, indeed, be passed down from generation to generation. All too rare, IMHO.

I thought John Lennon's son was pretty talented. Somehow he never made it beyond the one hit wonder.

Supposedly Mel Gibson's son is a jazz musician if I remember that correctly.

My guess is that I have that bungled up.

Well i'm glad that norah jones is not just a one hit wonder. Has anyone been listening to her new album The Fall?

She was on the Colbert Report last night. I still find some of her singing too nasal for my taste, but there is no doubt she is an amazing musical talent.
