Good morning all, this is my first post. I have the following which I installed recently:

Alpine Head unit - CDE147BT
Alpine AMP - 445U
Alpine 4" coaxial front speakers SPS410
JL Audio C3600 6" rear speakers
Kicker 11HSB Sub / Amp 150W

I have completely removed the old wiring and run new speaker cables
I have connected the sub to the head unit via the RCA's
I have connected the speakers to the 445U and connected the connection to the head (not via RCA)
I have spliced the power to run the SUB / AMP and Head unit together (could these be the issue)?
I have also spliced the earth to all devices (so not separately).

Now for the issue, it just sounds tinny and distorted, like the speakers are about to blow. I have tried heaps of configuration settings.
I have turned down the levels on the alpine 44U to low as I was getting feedback/ hissing through all speakers.
It just sounds like crap. I have turned the sub off and the bass definitely drops so I think SUB is fine.
Occasionally the head unit reboots itself. It reset more often it the car was not running (so just on battery).

Any advice would be appreciated. BTW you have figured out I am a bit if a novice!
