Not sure if this goes here but I'm going to be using a run of 0 gauge to a distribution block which will split into 4 4/8 gauge outputs for my amps. My question is do I have to fuse before AND after the distribution block?

Well if you are placing distribution blocks in series probably you will only need fuses to lines which actually connect to a device.

The fuse near the battery is still a must.

Yeah I'm definately going to fuse near the battery. So I would need to fuse after the block as well then?

Not after but at the distribution block:

It is not stricktly necessary to do it but since the fuse at the battery needs to take the load of all of your system if one amp shorts it will take longer to blow the fuse and the damage to the amp in question can get much worse.

In that fused distribution block you just place the proper rated fuse to the amp that line is going.
