you can not run 2 dual 2 subs to a 1ohm load it can go 1/2 or 2ohm load only

why, becuase thats how resistance work! google ohms law!

ty mutlow is correct, either .5 or 2ohms.
now that been said, the wccd5000 is the orion2500d; these amps are .5ohms stable for daily; I still dont recomend you hookin it up at .5, the amp will put out about 2800rms

the amp is not recommended at .5 load., just get the dual 4 subs and solve that problem.

they dont say it is, but its proven to be (tested) daily! @ .5ohms.. without even getting warm! its a very good amp. it acutally has a sweetspot at .34ohms for burps... but for starters I would do what its recomended..

that amp is rated @ 1ohm. so he needs dual 4ohm vcs..

Just another tidbit, that amp needs power, I ran it on 2 orion P15s, the amp will cut off unless it is powered correctly.

While where on the subject I have a wcc-D5000 and a orion h2 15.2 I just got in, how much power can I run to the sub without having to worry about it burning up the voice coils like my power acoustik and audiobahn subs did?

how much power??
get 2 of the wccd5000s and watch the gain! but I know people who gave them 4000rms safely! dont worry about blowing with that amp, just set the gains high, without clipping.. and enjoy your back been blowed out!
