I am in need of a new cd player. I was thinking of buying the Cd-8455 from Eclipse but I was also thinking of buying an AV Head Unit. Which of the two would be a better choice. The AV Head Unit could be whichever brand. Price is not an issue.
Well I really like the look of the TV on the dash. But I also like the Cd-8455 because it has alot of options and I hear it is a very good deck. I've also been told that tv's get damaged by too many vibrations from subwoofers. Is this true?
Like Ty said, it depends on what you want. You're going to get better sound from a dedicated head unit rather than a TV based one, but the TV certainly offers many multimedia options. Personally, I prefer the former...
