HI All, My friend is having an onkyo surround sound system model number HT-SR600 (s) which is 2006 model (not sure when it is launched) Wanted to know is worth of buying this model for Rs: 6,500/ and all speakers are working fine but the front speakers are producing less sound and its like tweeters sound, but they worked in the similar way when kept in rear speaker ports. I'm pretty sure this means it is speaker problem?\ One more thing is to listen good music need to keep the volume at 45 level or more. I don't really know whether is it a good deal to buy this hometheatre Can you please help me out ?
I've got an Onkyo system (7-1) surround system and the level I listen at is usually no more than 35..wife is a little hard of hearing and the 45 level blows me away but she likes it.. as for the front speaker issue.. you can down load the users manual from the (onkyo) web site...on my system you can adjust the (decibel level) on each speaker...might just need some tweeking the individual speaker adjustments.. I'd at least try that.
