i inherited some rectocon wireless speakers with RCA pin for source input. my thought was to use them as back channel speakers in a 5.1 system. the relay atenna thing (?) does not speaker level inputs so I doubt it would work but if i do hook up the broadcast antenna (not sure of what it is called) transponder deal to the back channel speaker channel outputs
on the AV receiver will it get signal?

If you connect it in much the same way as it is intended to connect to a receiver, it doesn't matter which channel they are connected. So you should be good.
What model is this?

No. Technically...it can, for some time, if you really turn the volume really really low, but it will not last for long.

I really don't advocate it...but you know you will try anyway.

if they do not want to work WELL, then I will not go this direction. these speakers work well as wireless devices, if you have power where you want them. but if they won't play nice with the receiver no sense in messing with it.
thanks
