Raisen Bran (not pictured) tastes good, and good for ya, and no sugar....7 grams fiber etc...

them non flavored Cheerios taste like cardboard and disgusting, and most varieties are loaded with sugar, and not good for ya...most them in the pic are really not healthy for ya...lol...eat a couple spoons of sugar if ya need that rush..

LK, my diet is very solid overall.

Cereal is actually one of my favorite cheats, cause if I'm going to cheat on my diet, I like to minimize the cheat (I like frequent, small cheats as opposed to many who set aside one day or meal to go nuts).

Cereal is really just sugary, empty calories. It would be wayyyyy down on the list of worst things you could eat. Loading myself up with pizza or fried foods would be satisfying, but a FAR WORSE cheat. I could also stuff my face with cookies or ice cream to satisfy the sugar craving, but the amount of sugar and unhealthy fat would be way more than eating a couple bowls of kids cereal. Also I'm getting 15-20 grams of good protein from the skim milk to get me by between real, solid meals.

I never liked fruity pebbles for some reason. I like their non-fruity counterpart, rice krispies, much better.

Captain crunch with crunch berries is LEGIT. One of my favorites.

Lucky Charms is overrated. Yeah, that's right, I just said that.

Grew up with the monster cereals. Anyone remember OJ's? Not the murdering football player either. Wheaties with strawberries, mmmmmmm. Capn' Crunch always hurt the roof of my mouth to eat.

Cereal for dinner? Yeah, I just said THAT.

Out of the ones in the pic I would take Trix in a close call over Cinnamon Toast Crunch. CTC gets kind of like cardboard when soaked with milk.

As others have said above, Captain Crunch original is the best cereal of all time IMO. Anyone here remember King Vitamin? It was a Captain Crunch knockoff made in the in the 70's and 80's by Quaker but it was awesome. They were shaped like little crowns.

Sad side to cereal though is its' price per pound. Some boxes go for $5+.

A few more that may joggle your memory..

I would get a bigger bowl and put the 3 cheerio's in, Then have another with the trix, coco, and lucky charms, Then finish with the mix of the square ones, grams and toast crunch..

I have been getting O'hs lately...or post granola.

Honorable mention has to go to Life cereal.

Wasn't EVER a fan of shredded wheat. Felt like eating straw.
