I recently replaced my Lamp and that works Fine I replaced Color Wheel several year ago. When I turn on the TV there is an electronic whinning sound that builds in pitch then goes away when picture comes on. I am thinking it is a ballast issue but looking at post on the net people are saying a color wheel. Like I said it sounds electronic in nature not mechanical. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Also new to this forum thing so sorry if I should not have created a new thread.
