i was repairing a 26AV500U Toshiba and it had no picture but sound, shined a flash light and saw a picture. so i thought i was the inverter, so i replaced it and it worked for like 2-3 days then went out. so im asking if its a power supply issue before i get it replaced and if my inverter is goood or not.
How old is the TV? It is sort of odd it did work for a few days. It could be your inverter is not getting the correct primary voltage. Lamps do go bad eventually, but most times they just go out for good.
tvs about 3 years old. i had a new power supply and inverter. but i heard inverters do fail easily like that. or maybe the bulbs are just gone? cuz after watchings maybe 20 minute of tv it goes out.
