My 5 year old son jammed a VHS tape backwards into our DVD/VCR unit a few minutes ago. My husband managed to get the VHS tape out but he said he turn it off due to it smoking. I wasn't in the room so I don't know how much there was but it must be a small amount since the alarm didn't go off in the room. Could anyone please advise me on how to repair the unit.
