Hi! I am new to the board and could use some help. I have a DVD/VCR combo hooked up to my cable box and tv. I would like to be able to record one channel and watch another. I have a splitter but my DVD/VCR combo does not have a way to connect the type of cable that comes out of the wall (I think it's called the coaxial cable?) It only has the red/yellow/white type of connections. Is there any way to connect this type of machine to be able to record one channel and watch another? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated and, as you can probably tell from my descriptions, if there is a way to do it, I basically need instructions for dummies. Thanks!

Unless your DVD/VCR combo has a digital tuner and unless the cable TV channel you want to record is unscrambled, you won't be able to record anything.
