After making copies of most of my old movie tapes to DVD by dubbing which worked perfectly, we tried to watch a shop bought video tape that i have had for some time (one that could not be copied as was protected) on the unit but it would only count the tape when "Play" was pressed but would not play the picture or sound on the TV screen. The DVD player is not affected and we played a DVD disc ok on screen.
Can anyone tell me what could be wrong or what I need to check ?
