I have free mediacom cable provided by the landlord of my apartment complex. I purchased a Phillips HDTV, just a cheap one from wal mart and I pick up all the basic cable channels as well as an HD version of them as well. I also get any pay per view and on demand movies and events that people around me are renting on channels 111.2-112.11. They start and stop whenever the person renting them does, and when they rewind or fast forward I see it as well. I know its not just my apartment because there are only three other people in the building and sometimes there are as many as ten or twelve movies going at a time. I can only asume that maybe it goes throughout the whole town, there's only about 1000 people so I don't know if its all on one network. My father who lives in a different town had the same thing on his Sony before going to dish. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what is the reason for it?
