I wonder if anyone can help in trying to figure out why the above unit does: Format the HDD with using the skip codes shift 079 and the unit shuts off, same with SKIP 013. The unit see A hard drive but when using the skip codes, it shuts off. This would be with sata drives, both 2.5 and 3.5... Tried using wiped hd complete clean, no go, used fat 32, no go, tried NTFS drive, nogo all just shut down. Also formated with linux and it didn't work. The skip codes are supposed to wipe the drive and format to use with the unit.
The digital tuner works fine and I can see channels great.
