I'm looking for a decent HD Ready TV that will fit into a 40"W x 39"H opening. My custom built-in is too expensive to tear down. I'm thinking about either a Sony KV36HS510 or perhaps a smaller Rear Projection. The only thing that concerns me with spending $1,800 on the Sony is that it's a 4:3 set. When HD comes will the 4:3 set become worthless? In the mean time though a 16:9 set seems like it will be inconvenient since 90% of the time I will be watching standard TV. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
